Excellent location, nice clean room, plenty of food shops

Confusing signage, small bathroom

we had a king room with an extra bed. the location was great in a quiet area, just off restaurants. found time to see christ church gate, that's just a short stroll away from the property.

Nothing it was perfect.

The owner's personal attention made us feel welcomed and helped create a homelike atmosphere .

The family room we stayed in felt cramped, lacking proper separation for privacy between the double and single bed.

I encountered several issues . The bathroom facilities in our room were inadequate, with a shared shower that felt dirty and unkempt. There were several noisy disruptions at night that affected my sleep.

The owner's warm demeanor and accommodating nature. The tea and coffee facilities were a good touch, and the quiet room allowed for restful nights.

While the cleanliness could have been improved, as we found dust behind the bed and some leftover items from previous guests, the overall experience was still pleasant.

Easy check-in/out process.

The family room was spacious and perfect for us. Loved the cleanliness and how quiet it was despite being near a busy road. The location was a real winner. Just a short, scenic walk to the heart of Canterbury.

In my wife's opinion, better breakfast options would be great.

Lots of privacy, so you do your own thing, but also friendly staff on hand should you need anything. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and kind, and always ready to answer any questions. Peaceful room, very clean, all facilities were great.

The single room was quite small, which might be challenging for larger guests, especially during the heat wave. The free parking and the convenient location, just a short, scenic walk alongside a river, made up for it. A kettle in the room was handy, complemented by the nearby eateries, and the overall cleanliness was commendable. Despite the lack of breakfast options, the room's comfort and quiet ambiance added to the experience.

The location offered easy access to the city. I enjoyed having a kettle in the room, perfect for a quick snack after my journey. The parking at the rear was a real bonus. I appreciated the inviting atmosphere and the owner's friendly demeanor added a personal touch to my stay.

Great value for a short stay

I found the room to be quite cute and ideal for a quick trip with friends. There was plenty of parking available over the weekend. It's also just a 15-minute stroll to the town center, made exploring Canterbury super convenient. It would have been nice to have some form of breakfast option available.
